Barbara's Blessing Grant

Shortly before our founder’s mother passed onto glory, she indicated a desire to contribute to IYS. Barbara wanted to “sow a seed” into Mark’s dream. In her honor we’ve set up the Barbara’s Blessing Grant —so we can “sow seeds to grow dreams.”

About Barbara's Blessing

Approved applicants may receive funds for essential equipment and capital to see their youth ministry initiatives (dreams) come to fruition. Thanks to our generous giving partners, our grant recipients have received support with communication technologies and practical items such as desks, printers, and more.

In 2024, GenNow, a start-up youth organization in South Asia, was the recipient of this grant. With a vision to reach more youth in their community, they used funds to set up their new youth center office. Since then, we’ve heard great things about their ongoing ministry.
